We stayed at Rambling Rose Villa in Sandsend and had a fantastic experience. the location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach and a short drive to the beautiful surroundings of Raithwaite estate. the property was cozy and user-friendly, with comfortable furniture and good heating. the grounds and setting were magical, especially during the off-season when we practically had the whole estate to ourselves. Our dogs loved it too, as the villa had everything they needed. We were also impressed with the professional service provided by Stay York, who were always available to assist us. Cons: None.

The location was absolutely stunning! We were within walking distance to the beach, and even though it was off season, the beautiful grounds still had a magical feel to them. The property itself was very user friendly, with comfortable furniture and good heating. The wifi worked well, which was a bonus. Plus, we had the added convenience of having Stay York as our managers, who were incredibly professional and helpful.
The only downside was the lack of views from the cottages and the sitting area being full of weeds. We also had some noisy neighbors during our stay, which was not ideal.

The room was cozy and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and soft lighting. As a guest with disabilities, I could easily move around the spacious room and the bathroom was accessible.
Personally, I found the TV placement a bit awkward, but others may still enjoy it.

Having access to a patio was a game-changer during my stay at this property. It felt like having my own little oasis where I could enjoy the fresh air and soak up the sunshine. It was like having a slice of paradise right outside my door.
Limited bathroom amenities.
